RAVEN
PRICE: $1.00
Reconditioned - Waiting for a home to support restoration and revive this unique machine.

Produced by Gottlieb
Released in 1986

One of only 3,550 units produced, this solid state electronic (SS) machine features 2 flippers, 4 pop bumpers, 2 slingshots, 10 standup targets, 4 drop targets, 2 kick-out holes, 1 spinning target and a photographic translite. Toys include a helicopter with spinning blades. Concept by Jeff Walker, design by John Trudeau, art by Don Marshall and Larry Day with sound by Ken Hale and software by John Buras. Designer John Trudeau said this came was his homage to Williams' 1980 'Firepower' and the name 'Raven' came from the code word used in the Hollywood movie 'Rambo'. Fun fact: Raven was the first pinball machine from any manufacturer to use a photograph for a backglass or translite. Not so fun fact: Artist Don Marshall told IPDB that the helicopter used in the backglass was actually a Reconnaissance Helicopter that was being used for traffic reporting. A couple of weeks after the photo shoot, that exact Helicopter crashed and pilot tragically died.

Call Pinball Alley, Rochester, NY for details on the pricing of each restoration and machine. We do not sell machines as is. We do not sell machines as projects or to be restored by another party. These machines are to be restored in house once a home has become available. The price of the restoration will depend on labor and parts.
